Delivering Kindness to families in their darkest hours

The Brantley Bereavement Baskets program provides thoughtfully curated gift baskets to families and individuals in the community who are experiencing the loss of a loved one. Each basket is assembled with care and delivered as a reminder that no one has to face grief alone.

The program serves a dual purpose: providing a meaningful healing outlet for Brantley’s loved ones who help assemble the baskets, while also offering comfort and support to families navigating the loss of someone they love.

Each basket is filled with comforting items and valuable resources available within the county, including crisis contacts, support groups, therapists, and recommended reading, among other helpful resources.

The baskets are presented to families by the Chaplain when delivering the difficult news of a loved one’s passing, offering a tangible reminder that support and compassion are available during one of life’s most difficult moments.

To date, the Brantley Bereavement Basket program serves 13 cities and counting! Baskets are currently available in Goodhue County and parts of Dakota County; however, with support, the family hopes to expand this effort to neighboring counties.

If you would like to contribute to this program, basket supplies can be purchased through the Amazon wish list below.
